Three steps.

Generate a file, import it into WireGuard, then switch the tunnel on. Making a config here does not connect your device.

  1. Generate your config.

    Choose a region in the generator, request a config, and download the .conf file. Follow any sign-in, quota or availability message shown there.

  2. Import it on your device.

    On the same phone, use the downloaded file. You do not need to scan a QR code on your own screen.

    iPhone or iPad

    Install the official WireGuard app. Save your config in Files, open WireGuard, and use its add-tunnel option to import the file. Select your downloaded .conf.

    Android

    Install the official WireGuard app. Open it, tap the add-tunnel button, and import your .conf from Downloads or your device's file picker.

    Desktop

    Install WireGuard for your operating system and import the downloaded .conf file. Linux setup depends on your distribution; follow the official installation instructions.

    Using two devices? You can display the config QR on a desktop and scan it with WireGuard on a second device. The QR transfers the config; it does not activate the tunnel.

  3. Activate in WireGuard.

    Switch on the imported tunnel in WireGuard and accept your operating system's VPN permission prompt if one appears. Check the client's handshake and transfer information.

    A file is not a connection.

    “Config ready” means a file was generated. A public-IP check alone does not validate tunnel security or routing. This website cannot certify your device's connection.

    Manual WireGuard configs do not run a probe or contribute measurements to the network.

Start with the step that did not work. Never share your config or private key to troubleshoot.

The generator cannot issue a config

Follow the generator's specific error and next step. If issuance is unavailable, wait for it to recover; a setup guide cannot bypass that state.

The file opens as text

Save the actual .conf download, then open WireGuard and import that file. Do not paste the config into a website or share it with someone else.

The tunnel will not connect

Check the WireGuard client for errors and confirm that you activated the imported tunnel. Review the selected exit's network observation, but do not treat node health as proof of your connection.

This manual config uses WireGuard over UDP. Networks that block it may prevent a connection; no alternate transport is offered by this config.
