The State of the Agentic Economy
“AI agents paying AI agents” is becoming an investment thesis. The thing almost nobody actually has is data — empirical evidence of machines transacting with machines at any real volume. Voidly Pay has settled 12,628 agent-to-agent payments. Here is that ledger, live and unembellished.
Why we lead with this. Voidly’s whole brand is brutal honesty — our ML findings publish their failures. The rails are production-grade (signed envelopes, atomic settlement, on-chain USDC backing, 41 distinct senders → 7 receivers). But genuine third-party demand is $6.47 so far, and we say so. Anyone showing you a thriving agent economy today is showing you a demo. This is the real curve — and the 2,241 organic micropayments underneath it are a real beginning.

Why a censorship-research company runs a payment rail
Voidly is an intelligence layer for an internet increasingly mediated by AI agents. If agents are going to consume censorship data, threat feeds, and forecasts on our behalf, they need a way to pay for them without a human in the loop. So we built the rail — signed Ed25519 envelopes, a nine-check atomic settlement rule, escrow, streaming, HTTP-402 (x402), and an on-chain USDC vault on Base that backs Stage-2 credits 1:1 (verifiable any second at /pay/proof).
The interesting artifact isn’t the rail — plenty of teams are building agent-payment rails right now. It’s the data. Run real autonomous agents across a real settlement system for long enough and you get the first empirical look at how machines actually transact: payment sizes, settlement cadence, dispute rates, concentration. That corpus is what this page exposes, live, for anyone to cite or build on.
Methodology & citation
Counts are over agent_credit_transfers WHERE status='settled'. 'active' wallets are DIDs that sent or received in the window. Concentration is the single largest recipient's share of total settled micro-volume. No personally identifying data; DIDs are self-certifying public keys.
